5 days until we leave-it is unbelieavable!

It's going to be a crazy week finalizing things for the trip along with midterms so please continue to keep the trip in your prayers.

What this blog is all about..

Hello all! My name is Marisela Barrera and am the trip leader of the El Salvador mission trip this year through Benedictine College Ministry. We are all getting very excited about our mission trip which is right around the corner- 12 days!!!

We will be building 3 houses in 3 days. The rest of the time is spent visiting other communities that have been blessed by CFCA. CFCA which is better known as the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging is the organization that we are going through. They are a beautiful non-profit organization dedicated to changing broken and impoverished families. They believe in taking care of our most vulnerable brothers and sisters in Christ. Because of their efforts 300,000 children, youth and aging friends worldwide are now sponsored. 

We thought having a blog would be a great way to communicate with all of our family members and friends while we are on our trip. Wifi will be available at the place we are staying while we are in El Sal, so we will be able to update the blog everyday with an entry and pictures.
